Turkish Airlines plans new base in Rotterdam

From March, Turkish Airlines will have seven employees stationed in Rotterdam to handle its services from there to Istanbul. The direct connection between Rotterdam and Istanbul will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays with a Boeing 737-800. The first flight is scheduled for March 4. THY plans to fly daily from Rotterdam, and twice daily after two years.

“Rotterdam is the trading capital of the Netherlands and the city boasts the largest port in Europe. Rotterdam is an important potential growth market for us,” said General Manager Ferhat Yerli.
