Turkey and Balkans to cooperate

Civil aviation director Ali Ariduru confirmed Turkey was set to sign a number of agreements with Balkan countries to boost cooperation in aviation sector.

“Most of the Balkan countries are not accredited in plane maintenance and repair,” he said ahead of a meeting on Balkan Countries Civil Aviation Summit in Antalya. “The agreements we will sign aim at bringing Balkan countries to Turkey for the maintenance and repair of their air carriers.”

Aviation authorities from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova and Serbia are joining the meeting in Antalya.
