Repairs on the Qantas A380 aircraft that experienced a mid-flight explosion in November 2010 have been completed in Singapore and the aircraft has returned to Sydney. Repair costs were around million $157 million, which CEO Alan Joyce stated was “probably the biggest repair [that has been] done on an aircraft, as well as the biggest insurance claim on an aircraft”.
