Passenger traffic for the second quarter at Cebu Air rose 15% thanks to increased demand from foreign travellers. The airline flew 3.1 million passengers from April to June – keeping the carrier on track to meet its 2011 target to carry over 12 million passengers. Cebu Air’s loss factor was 89%. Domestic passengers rose 13% to 2.43 million in the second quarter of this year, while international passengers grew 21% to 683,000 during the three-month period.
