Tiger Airways confirmed yesterday that it carried a total of 5.8 million passengers for 2010, up 32% from the 4.4 million passengers in 2009. Average load factor for 2010 increased to 86%, up by two percentage points year-on-year. For the month of December, Tiger Airways carried 555,000 passengers, a 22% increase year on year. The average load factor across Asia and Australia for the month was 91%, an increase of one percentage point over December 2009.
