TIGER PLANS TO DOUBLE FLEET IN TWO YEARS

Singapore low cost carrier Tiger Airways has said it plans to double the size of it fleet of Airbus A320-family aircraft to 43 from 21 by 2013.

Tiger has previously stated it aimed to boost its fleet size to 68 aircraft by December 2015, however the expansion plans may have been tempered somewhat by the poor half year results posted earlier this month.
