Tiger Airways, which has not flown to Tasmania since it was grounded by the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority in July 2011, is considering a return to services in 2012. Tiger is in talks with Hobart International Airport in relation to resuming flights between Melbourne and Hobart. “It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when,” said a spokesperson for the airport.
