THY to provide training to IsDB member countries

The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has signed an agreement with Turkish Airlines (THY) to enhance cooperation among 57 members of the bank. As part of the memorandum of understanding, THY will provide aviation training to the bank’s member countries, which will include providing support for the creation of new regional airlines in areas such as Guyana and Suriname. “Turkish Airlines will cooperate within the framework of the parties’ social responsibility program including but not limited to, the transportation and distribution of Haj meat to the poor or in other areas like health and education,” the bank said in a statement.
