Turkish Airlines (THY) is adding 10 new destinations in 2012. The airline will also add 18 new aircraft to its 178-strong fleet. Temel Kotil, THY general manager, said: “The new destinations to be added until the New Year will make THY the world’s 7th largest airline company. Adding: “The sales revenue of the company during the first nine months of 2011 has gone up 35% to reach TRY 8.5 billion (US$ 4.4 billion). We intend to reach US$7.1 billion in turnover by the year-end.”
