THY flies the most direct flights

Turkish Airlines offers direct flights to 189 destinations from Istanbul and is the most prolific airline in Europe and the Middle East to fly the most direct routes. THY flies to 15 more destination nonstop than Lufthansa. The airline is expanding rapidly. And during the past decade, it has tripled its amount of air passengers. In 2012, Turkish will open a new, 372,000-square-meter aviation services complex at Sabhia Gokcen Airport, 30 kilometers from Ataturk airport. There it will run its maintenance and repair station, with ambitions to enter into the aircraft-seat manufacturing business.
