THY begins flights to Saudi Arabia

Turkish Airlines has launched flights from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) to Medina (MED). Flights will operate four times per week.

Turkish Airlines has already launched its new route from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) to Jeddah (JED) and Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) to Riyadh (RUH). Both routes will operate 7 times weekly, as of March 27, 2016.  Turkish Airlines’ Ankara Esenboga (ESB) to Medina (MED)  also began flying on March 27, 2016, with 7 weekly flights.

Turkish Airlines Trabzon (TZX) to Riyadh (RUH) flights will start on March 29, 2016, with 3 flights per week.

From Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST), Turkish Airlines currently operates 21 weekly frequencies to Jeddah, 14 weekly frequencies to both Medina and Riyadh. The airline operates  10 weekly frequencies (14 as of June 2016) from IST and  7 weekly frequencies from SAW to Dammam. Turkish Airlines operates to a total number of 7 destinations in Saudi Arabia, with 7 flight weekly from IST to Yanbu, 5 weekly flights from IST to Al Qassim and 3 weekly flights from IST to Taif.
