Tata-SIA forms management team

Tata-Singapore Airlines (Tata-SIA) are forming a management team in advance of receiving final clearance from the Indian civil aviation ministry to begin operations.

SIA’s director of the Indian project, Yeoh Phee Teik, is tipped to be the chief executive, while the position for chief financial officer is still being debated.

S Varadarajan, former head of human resources at Tata Teleservices, is heading human resources at the new airline.

SIA’s former head flight operations, safety and security, Roshan Joshi, is the new senior vice-president (operations) of Tata-SIA, while former general manager of SIA in India, G M Toh, is tipped for a commercial role in the new airline.
