Taiwanese airline companies will decrease their fuel surcharges from February 8 as international oil prices continue to drop, the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) said today. The fuel surcharge for short-haul services will fall from US$15 to US$12.5 per single trip, or US$25 per round trip. For long-haul flights, the surcharge will drop from US$39 to US$32.5 per one-way trip, or US$65 per round trip. The new rates will also apply to all domestic flights, starting March 3, according to the CAA.
