SUSPECT DEVICE FOUND ON LTU FLIGHT IN NAMIBIA

A suspect device has been discovered by police when an LTU, AirBerlin’s leisure carrier, aircraft was being loaded ready for its flight to Munich.

Police are examining the device, contained in a suitcase, which had a clock, batteries and detonator connection. It is not yet known if the device was viable.
