Sunwing flight intercepted by military over passenger threat

Canadian airline Sunwing saw one of its flights from Toronto to Panama City intercepted by US military aircraft after a passenger apparently threatened to destroy the aircraft in flight using explosives. The aircraft was escorted back to Toronto and landed safely. Local media stated that a 25-year-old Canadian man was arrested on suspicion of threatening the aircraft, and that the suspect became angry after learning that the duty-free items he wanted were not for sale.
