Turkish airline SunExpress has announced plans to lease its fleet of 28 Boeing 737-800s to make better use of over-capacity during the low-demand European winter season. The carrier, which is a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, will operate 1,000 weekly flights between Europe and Turkey in the summer season. Its subsidiary, SunExpress Germany, will operate service between Germany and Egypt.
