Spring reports first quarter results

Spring Airlines has reported a 3.5% increase in first quarter revenue to CNY2089 million (US$319.4 million), with operating costs up by 2.15% to CNY1742 million (US$266.4 million), producing an operating profit of CNY322.9 million (US$49.4 million) – an increase of 14.1%. Net profit was up by 44.2% to CNY366.7 million (US$56.1 million). Spring’s total assets are CNY16,486 million (US$2521 million), with liabilities of CNY9579 million (US$1465 million).
