After many flights being grounded today, SpiceJet has resumed operations after gaining access to fuel suppliers. Still, the airline cancelled 75 flights today, but resumed all flights operating after 4pm. SpiceJet COO Sanjiv Kapoor tweeted an apology for the disruptions. SpiceJet was only allowed access to fuel after the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry requested the oil companies and airport operators to extend a 15-day credit facility to SpiceJet to save the airline from shutting down.
