Passengers travelling to the East of the US are being warned to expect more cancelled and delayed flights due to heavy snow. After more than a thousand flights were cancelled in Chicago, passengers were left fighting for what few seat remained on outgoing flights. Airports and airlines warned the chaos would continue for the next few days. Penalties for changing flights were raised by Delta, Continental and United Airlines to help ease the congestion.
