SMOKING FRENCHMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

A French man caught smoking in a Delta Air Lines toilet yelled ‘I’m French, f*** you!’ to airline staff when they confronted him. The man, 34-year old Franck Lebrun, has been charged with assault. The complaint filed in New york said he “knowingly and intentionally assault and intimidate a flight crew member and flight attendant of the aircraft’ during a flight between Nice and New York on Saturday”.

The complaint also said that Lebrun, who appeared intoxicated, was twice instructed not to smoke and is alleged to have approached a female flight crew attendant in an aggressive manner and pushed her away with both hands.

Federal air marshals were forced to intervene and when he continued to be aggressive he was handcuffed and moved to the rear section of the aircraft.
