New Ukranian carrier, SkyUp Airlines, has received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) and has leased two 2013-vintage 737-800s, both ex-Malaysian Airlines aircraft. One aircraft has begun operations and the second 737 will be delivered on May 25. SkyUp will perform International charter flights to leisure destinations on behalf of Join Up!, which is owned by Yuri and Tatyana Alba – the same as SkyUp.
