Sichuan Airlines has set up a new base in Hangzhou, the capital of eastern China’s Zhejiang province. The airline plans to deploy up to six A320s at Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan International Airport in July, enabling it to launch a series of new domestic routes. Sichuan has commenced four weekly flights from Hangzhou to Guangzhou, as well as services to Nanning, via Changsha. The carrier plans to start three weekly flights from Hangzhou to Beijing on 2nd August.
