SIA reviewing Canberra flights

Singapore Airlines has confirmed it is reviewing its international flights to and from Canberra. Launched in September 2016, SIA’s Singapore to Canberra to Wellington service runs four times a week. The airline is struggling to fill the service, however with Australian Federal Government figures showing passengers getting on and off the Singapore Airline flights in Canberra have been filling about half the available seats to and from Singapore and 25 per cent to and from Wellington. December figures show on average 37 per cent of the 266 seats from Singapore to Canberra were occupied by people travelling to the national capital. Other seats were filled by passengers travelling straight through from Singapore to Wellington.
