Saudi Airlines Cargo is launching a twice-weekly 747-400 freighter service from Saigon, Vietnam from March 25. The move is part of the airline’s expansion into Asia. “Saigon is an emerging market. With China becoming more expensive, production is increasingly being moved to Vietnam and other developing countries. This new service will enable us to expand our network into the region in response to changing market conditions,” said Peter Scholten, VP commercial at Saudi Airlines Cargo.
