Scandinavian airline SAS has reported a 5.4% rise in passenger traffic in January, while its load factor fell to 63.9% in January from 73% in the previous month. The airline’s revenue per unit fell 8.2% in December from a year ago, although the January figure was up on December. “The market remains unpredictable, particularly yield development due to overcapacity in certain markets. Due to high load factors RASK has been relatively stable,” SAS said in a statement.
