Royal Brunei Airlines will restart services to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City to close up a perceived gap in coverage between its Hong Kong and Bangkok destinations. The route was previously dropped in October 2011.Royal Brunei deputy chairman Dermot Mannion said the route was reinstated based on the potential for “connections to key markets from Melbourne, Dubai and London.” Mannion also said the new routing would also link to expanding Vietnamese tourism business for regional destinations in Brunei and West Malaysia. “Ho Chi Minh City emerged a frontrunner in providing [international] connections [and for] regional destinations like Kota Kinabalu,” Mannion
