From November 17, Royal Jordanian will suspend its operations between Amman and Muscat, Oman due to commercial reasons. RJ president/CEO Amer Hadidi said that Royal Jordanian and Oman Air are working on concluding a code share agreement to enable the RJ customers to travel between the two cities under the RJ code. He added that Oman Air, which operates seven weekly flights en route Muscat-Amman-Muscat, will keep running this service, whereas seats are to be marketed by both airlines according to the impending agreement.
