Air France is planning to combine its three subsidiary airlines – Brit Air and Regional and French partner carrier Airlinair – into a single regional brand as part of its restructuring plan. The new brand airline, which will be launched in April 2013, will result in the loss of seven aircraft and 64 flight crew jobs. The move is to help the airline group become more adaptable to market changes and allow it to be more competitive against rival airlines throughout Europe.
