Record earnings for Jazeera Airways Group

Jazeera Airways Group has announced a nine month net profit of KD9.2m and third quarter (Q3) net profit of KD6.1m, up 36% from Q3 2010. During the third quarter 2011, operating expenses were KD11.8m, a marginal increase of 11% from Q3 2010, with operating profit up121% to KD7.5m. Average yield was also up, by 42% over Q3 2010 results. Over the nine month period to date, Jazeera posted operating revenues of KD44.5m, up 40% from the same period a year ago.
