R3 TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHED BY BOEING AND IBM

New technology from Boeing and IBM called R3 is designed to better predict and manage air-traffic volume as well as deliver more real-time information about an aviation event.

R3 stands for responsive, reliable and real time. The joint project, which was created at IBM’s Watson research lab, is designed to co-ordinate more flights in the same airspace.
