El Al Israel Airlines has posted a second-quarter net loss of $6.2 million although this has narrowed from a $19.7 million net loss in the same period last year. Revenue dipped by 3% to $516.8 million, with passenger revenue falling 1% to 4.46 billion RPKs. Capacity fell by 2% to5.41 billion ASKs. The airline’s load factor was 81.1%. Cargo revenues also fell during the period by around 7%.
