Qingdao and Shandong to codeshare

China’s start-up carrier Qingdao Airlines and Shandong Airlines plan to code-share on 10 selected domestic routes starting March 1. Code-share designations will be available on 10 selected domestic flights from Qingdao to Shanghai Pudong, Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Changchun, Harbin, Nanjing, Haikou, Hangzhou and Fuzhou. Both Qingdao Airlines and Shandong Airlines will function as the operating carrier and the marketing carrier. The Qingdao-based carrier said that it will expand their partnership in the future. Passengers on the QW flights can earn miles in SC’s frequent-flier program.
