Qatar Airways has announced it is increasing capacity across its global network from March 1. The growth in passenger demand and an increase in new aircraft means the airline can pursue an aggressive growth strategy. Under the planned increases, three additional weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur will be added; two extra services will fly to Dar Es Salaam, while the daily service to Bangalore will be upgraded from an A320 aircraft to an A330. There will be three extra flights to Muscat, which rises capacity to 24 flights each week. Most of the expansion will be focused in Europe, however.
