QATAR AIRWAYS DENIES ACQUISITION RUMOURS

Qatar Airways has denied rumours it is planning to acquire a stake in Slovenian national carrier Adria Airways. The airline said it is “not interested in acquiring other airlines or launching a new airline at the present time”. The airline commented in a statement that Qatar Airways was focused on developing its core business, growing and expanding its network and fleet.
