PRECISION TO DIVERSIFY INTO GROUND HANDLING SERVICES

Alfonse Kioko, the chief executive of Precision Air has pledged to forge ahead with plans to diversify its operations into ground handling. The airline is continuing construction of a $5.4-million hangar, which is scheduled for completion in March 2011.

The airline received a third class ground-handling license from Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) in November last year and is also looking to list at the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE).
