POSITIVE AUGUST RESULTS FOR JAZEERA AIRWAYS

Jazeera Airways maintains market leading position following strong operational performance for August. Jazeera was the leading airline on the routes it serves, with the only exception of the Kuwait-Jeddah and Kuwait-Riyadh routes due to low seat-allocation restrictions on the airline versus other Kuwaiti airlines. Data from Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) showed that Jazeera Airways as the largest operator among all airlines serving the Kuwait-Beirut route (with a 29% market share), and Kuwait-Sharm El Sheikh route (with a 59% market share). The airline was also the largest operator on both the Kuwait-Damascus route (with a 37% markets share)
