Following its floatation on Friday, shares in Pegasus Airlines rose to 18.9 lira from a launch price of 18.4 lira, valuing the company at more than $1 billion. Investors from around the world piled into the Pegasus IPO – over half were from the UK, 35% from the US and 15% from Europe.
