Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta has reported a return to traffic norms following a power outage yesterday that forced Delta Airlines to cancel or delay flights. “The power is back on and operations are returning to normal,” said airport spokeswoman Katena Carvajales. Some 18 gates were affected in the airport, which caused Delta to request a full ground stop and cancelling two dozen flights. The ground stop was later lightened to a ground delay, so flights were leaving but with a delay. The cause of the outage is being investigated.
