Iberia and Orbest Airlines have signed a contract covering the maintenance of components of the Airbus A320s and A330s operated by the Palma de Majorca-based company, a unit of the Orizonia holiday Group. For three years, such aircraft components as sensors, audio system control panels, fire extinguishers, flight recorders, and radio beacons will be inspected and repaired at Iberia Maintenance facilities near Madrid airport, where they occupy an area of 14,500 m2 and boast 18 work lines dealing with accessories, instruments and components of A320, A340, B747 and B757 aircraft among others.
