Oman Air has reported a 4% increase in total revenues to RO398.4 million. The carrier stated that it had reduced its operational losses by 4% to RO95.9 million ($249 million). The airline benefited by a RO138 million cash support from the Omani government, however. CEO Paul Gregorowitsch has given a target date of the end of 2017 to achieve profitability. Oman Air carried 5.1 million passengers in 2014, up from 4.9 million in 2013, with an average load factor of 74.4%.
