Oman Air celebrated the launch of its second daily, non-stop and direct service between Muscat and London Heathrow on April 12 with an event in London. Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Gregorowitsch, has stated that the airline plans to make a decision on the shape of its future widebody fleet in 2018, with talks underway with both Airbus and Boeing for possible 737Max and A350-900 orders. Oman Air has 10 A330s and two 787s (it has four more on order). Oman Air wants its fleet to number 70 aircraft by 2020 – 25 widebodies – from 40 today.
