Norwegian reaffirms fleet expansion plan

Norwegian Air Shuttle has announced intentions to add more Boeing aircraft to its fleet as part of its long haul expansion. Norwegian is intending to buy more than 20 B787-9s, with delivery set to commence during 2018. The airline’s plans hit a setback in June as a delay in receiving U.S. government approval for its long haul routes had forced Norwegian to suspend talks to buy the 20 787s.
