NORWEGIAN AIR SHUTTLE FIRMS UP 787 LEASES

Norwegian Air Shuttle has agreed to lease two Boeing 787s for 12 years from the International Lease Finance Corporation for delivery in 2012. The airline intends to launch international services from Oslo and Stockholm to New York and Bangkok using the new aircraft but in the meantime the airline could seek short term leases for larger aircraft to be able to launch the international routes before 2012.
