Daily flights between London’s Heathrow airport to Boston and Miami have been approved by the US Department of Transportation and the European Commission for Delta Airlines. The service will commence from March 2011 and will operate under the Delta trans-Atlantic joint venture with Air France KLM and Alitalia. Delta Executive Vice President Glen Hauenstein says: “Our Boston service is possible in large part thanks to the leadership of the Massachusetts Port Authority, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Gov.
