NEW CITY ROUTE TO STOCKHOLM FOR BA

British Airways has launched a new, twice-weekly route between London City airport and Arlanda airport in Stockholm.

BA CityFlyer, a wholly-owned subsidiary of British Airways, will use two new Embraer E-190s on the route. The airline recently ordered the two extra E190s on top of an order for six E170s and five Embraer 190SRs.

Peter Simpson, managing director of BA CityFlyer, said: “Customer feedback on the new fleet has been fantastic, particularly with the additional space and two-by-two seating. The successful fleet introduction and customer reaction to the E-jets has given us the confidence to expand so soon after the initial order.”
