New Canadian ULCC startup announced

Canada Jetlines is a Vancouver-based ultra-low cost startup that plans to launch during Spring 2015, and intends to price tickets up to 40% cheaper than competitors WestJet and Air Canada. Canada Jetlines will commence operations with routes in Western Canada, although the airline has not stated where. CEO and President David Solloway commented on the intended ultra-low cost business model, saying: “It’s a very strict business model.
