The Moroccan government has agreed to inject €145 million into Royal Air Morocco (RAM) between the years of 2011 and 2016 in support of its €800 million investment and restructuring program. With this help, the government seeks to re-establish the national carrier and liberalize Moroccan airspace. The investment also allows the airline to meet its financial commitments, to optimize the network, service quality and reduce costs by about €89 million, making the airport infrastructure in Casablanca more efficient.
