MEXICANA TO FLY AGAIN

Bankrupt Mexicana has stated that it will start operations as a small airline by mid-December, pending approval of a restructured business plan by PC Capital.

“The business plan proposed by PC Capital has, as its objective, to begin operations in mid-December of this year and projects ordered growth and, above all, sustainability in the current needs of the market,” Mexicana said in a statement.

The smaller airline will focus on international routes between Mexico and the US, Canada, Central America and the Caribbean with a fleet of just 30 A320 aircraft rather.
