May passenger stats for Wizz Air

During May, Wizz Air increased its fleet to 68 aircraft with the delivery of another A321ceo aircraft. Capacity in the month increased by 20.3% for May 2016 year on year while passenger numbers  increased by 21.8% year on year, increasing load factor by 1.1ppt to 90.1% ASKs were up 22.9% compared to the prior-year period, while RPKs were up 24.5% year on year. These are very impressive figures and this is great fleet management in action that will no doubt please investors.
CityJet to lease Superjets to other carriers from 2017
CityJet, expects to lease its Superjet to other European carriers from summer 2017 and is in talks at the moment with two airlines to wet lease the aircraft. CityJet took delivery of the aircraft this month and executive chairman Pat Byrne said it planned to use most of its fleet of up to 31 of the type for wet leases.

Cityjet will either hold an initial public offering or sell the airline after four to five years after increasing its fleet to 40-50 aircraft. Cityjet has no plans to raise additional financing unless a suitable acquisition target is found. That target might well be Stobart Air.
