Lufthansa releases March traffic figures

Lufthansa quietly released its March traffic figures today for the group and all of its subsidiary airlines save for Germanwings. Overall the group reported traffic up by 1.9% and a 0.6 percentage points rise in load factor to 77.5% during March 2015, compared to the same period last year. Passenger demand in terms of revenue seat kilometres fell 2.5% in Europe however. The group stated that traffic figures were “significantly affected” by the four day strike at Lufthansa.
